is on the Board of IHC New Zealand Inc. He has a special

Alice Caird
Alice practises in the conveyancing and commercial area, which includes residential sales and purchases, business and farm sales and purchases, company formations and advice, as well as advice regarding the making of agreements under the Property (Relationships) Act. Alice is a partner of the firm. Alice is a keen hockey player and plays both club hockey
for the local Pleasant Point Club and for South Canterbury.
Alice is also a Toastmaster having recently joined the Alpine
Toastmasters Club in Timaru and finds that interesting and
challenging. |

Bruce Timpany
Bruce specialises in commercial, farming, company and trust work but also has a special interest and expertise in management. His expertise in this latter area was recognised in his appointment to the chairmanship of the Board of the former Trust Bank South Canterbury Limited and to the chairmanship of the Timaru Boys High School Board of Trustees. He has played a central part in the management of our legal practice during a time of immense change, and is a director of a number of substantial local private companies. He was also a trustee of the Mid South Canterbury Community Trust Inc. Relevant experience includes advising builders and property
developers, school boards of trustees, and the Local Community
trust. |

Charlotte Clifford
After being admitted to the bar in 2001 Charlotte worked in Central Otago gaining experience in general legal practice. She has recently returned from travelling abroad and joined Timpany Walton in Timaru in 2006. Charlotte has experience in litigation and practises in all areas of family law including care of children, domestic violence and relationship property. Charlotte also practises in criminal law and civil litigation. She has experience in employment law as well. Prior to the arrival of her baby in July 2005 Charlotte had a number of interest including skiing and water skiing, scuba diving and social netball but also enjoyed more sedate activities such as reading , movies, theatre and socialising with friends. Recently these activities have taken a back seat and Charlotte is happy to make the most of the spare time she has with her family. |
